ITE 2009 course counts

10 original year/sex/course observations. F means female; MF covers both sexes, so do not add F to MF. Course categories follow their original source classification, not CIP, and are not mapped to university degree categories.

ITE source figures exclude apprentices. ITE replaced the former Vocational & Industrial Training Board in 1992. These course observations are separate from polytechnic diploma and university degree populations.

Intake is an entry flow, enrolment a stock, and graduates a different flow; do not infer cohort graduation rates from their ratios. Original nonnumeric markers remain literal. Historical figures do not establish current admissions or available places.
