Read the disclosure population before comparing

Publication year (공시연도) and reference year (기준연도) are separate source fields. Counts describe the stated annual university department disclosure. They are not a live application catalogue, an admission requirement, an offer of a place or an individual acceptance probability.

입학정원수 is the printed admission quota. 모집인원 fields distinguish total recruitment places and their in-quota (정원내) / outside-quota (정원외) parts. 지원자 fields are printed applicant counts; 입학자 fields are printed entrant counts with the stated in/out-quota and male/female parts. The data does not establish that applicants are unique people across universities or departments.

정원내 신입생 충원율 and 경쟁률 stay as the source’s printed numbers. They are not recomputed into acceptance rates, and the competition ratio is not interpreted as your chance of admission. Check the original disclosure definitions and the institution’s exact applicant route before relying on a number.

Zero rows remain in annual history. A zero does not establish closure, a cancelled program or an available place. The separate 학교상태 field is retained as a source-year label. Blank standard classification labels remain blank and are not mapped to US CIP or another country’s classifications. Names sharing a code remain year-specific observations; different codes are not joined by name.
