SOURCE PROGRAMME LABELS · FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025

Computer Programming research in Ontario colleges.

28 named observations across 16 institution reporting labels match the English terms “computer programming” in the latest connected fiscal year. This collection shows historical headcounts, not a complete current course directory.

How the names are selected

Both English terms must occur in the institution-defined programme name, in any order. The source's original internal spacing and case remain visible. Matching uses literal substrings. This is a name screen, not a Canadian or US CIP classification, and it can omit French names and programmes using different wording. Counts describe named source observations; similarly spelled records are not automatically the same course.

Suppressed values remain unavailable and explicit zeros remain zero. A historical headcount does not measure available places, current admissions selectivity, programme quality or an applicant's likely outcome. The funding-year label remains separate from a current intake or application deadline.

Check the credential behind a programming title

The selected college table has no programme-level credential or campus field. Ask the official college programme page which credential is awarded, which campus and delivery mode apply, and whether the named route has a current intake. Separate credential and campus worksheets cannot be joined to these names from the selected fields.

Read the current module list and ask how much programming, software development, systems work and practical assessment it contains. A name alone does not establish a bachelor's degree, co-op placement, teaching language or employment result. If a similarly named route appears twice in the source, keep its observations separate until an institution provides a reliable identity.

Build a current research checklist

For each candidate, separately verify the official programme identity, credential, campus, curriculum, tuition category, prerequisites and available intake. Preserve the date and source for each answer. A French or English name is not evidence of instruction language, and this workbook does not establish DLI or permit eligibility.

Read the Ontario college reporting scope

The selected Program worksheet reports historical fall full-time headcounts by institution-defined programme label at publicly funded Ontario colleges. The fiscal-year label is a funding year aligned with April 1–March 31; it is not a current application cycle.

This table has no programme-level credential, study-year, teaching-language or campus field. Separate credential, campus, mother-tongue, citizenship and Canadian CIP worksheets are outside this connection and cannot be joined to a named programme from the selected fields. A name containing “degree” does not establish a current bachelor's admissions offer.

Suppressed (*) remains unavailable and is never estimated. A reported zero remains zero. Identical rows are consolidated without adding their headcounts. Unnamed zero rows do not receive invented programme identities and are excluded with collection diagnostics. Internal spacing is preserved because the official file contains similarly spelled labels with different counts; those observations are not merged.

Source label counts are not necessarily counts of distinct current courses or unique people. Check the official college website for current course availability, fees and entry requirements. These observations do not establish DLI status, permit or work-permit eligibility.

The associated 2024–25 dictionary internally references 2023–24 reporting procedures. Selected fields were verified against the connected workbook; new fiscal-year scope requires explicit review. Retrieval time is not a programme revision date, and missing later observations retain earlier evidence.
