What to verify for this unit
- Use unit code 1016O0973 and the exact provider and location codes when checking the intended programme with its provider.
- Match VORM and VOERTAAL within the same contextual row, then check the current curriculum and teaching-language requirements with the provider.
- Check the original offering and intake dates below. An empty end date does not confirm an open intake or a current application deadline.
Original DUO RIO overview of funded current and future higher education education records. OPLEIDING means a programme and VARIANT a programme variant. Each unit page groups only the original OPLEIDINGSEENHEIDCODE; an offering or location is not counted as a separate degree. The list does not cover every private provider or guarantee that applications are open.
Reported start, end and intake dates remain source evidence rather than a promise of current availability. A missing end date does not establish an open intake. Names, qualification labels, codes, languages and missing values remain in Dutch. No CIP equivalence, inferred admissions conditions or institution-name matches are added. Contextual offering records and source-name aliases are preserved together.

- OMSCHRIJVING
- This MSc programme offers forefront insights from business sciences, providing a multi-disciplinary perspective on how firms, farms, markets and sectors transform to be part of sustainable solutions. It offers and develops knowledge, skills and competencies to become a manager, marketeer, or entrepreneur that can run a business beyond the usual, making it suited for a more sustainable future. In the first year students build up a knowledge base, first taking stock of existing business theories and the consequences of taking sustainability serious, followed by exploring solutions in the domains of strategic marketing, leadership and organizing for sustainability transitions in business. Later, students learn to creatively develop theories to enhance sustainability and innovation in business, learn advanced qualitative and quantitative methods for testing and advancing such theories, to close year one with reflections on the learnings (including ethics). Along year one, a so-called ribbon course aims at cohort building. To deepen personal skills and interests, year one includes skills modules, an academic consultancy training using a real assignment, and two elective courses. The second year is filled with the master thesis project and an internship with an external company or organization to prepare for a future job at academic level (either in the Netherlands or abroad).
