### Vijf afstudeerrichtingen\n\nBinnen de Master Neerlandistiek bestaan formeel vijf afstudeerrichtingen:\n\n* Moderne Nederlandse Letterkunde\n* Oudere Nederlandse Letterkunde\n* Taalbeheersing van het Nederlands\n* Nederlandse Taalkunde\n* Nederlandkunde\n\n### Algemene randvoorwaarden\n\nJe kiest één van de vijf afstudeerrichtingen. Daarbinnen kun je een eigen pakket aan vakken volgen zolang maar aan de volgende randvoorwaarden is voldaan.\n\nDat zijn de volgende voor Taalkunde, Taalbeheersing, Moderne Letterkunde en Oudere Letterkunde:\n\n* 20 EC scriptie op het gebied van de gekozen specialisatie\n* 20 EC vakken binnen de gekozen specialisatie\n* 10 EC in het verlengde van de gekozen specialisatie\n* 10 EC vrije keuzeruimte\n\nDat zijn voor Nederlandkunde:\n\n* Second Language Acquisition en/of Vertaalwetenschap (10 of 20 EC).\n* Specialisatievakken op het gebied van het gekozen thema binnen Nederlandkunde (20 of 30 EC, afhankelijk van bovengenoemde keuze)\n* Scriptie op het gebied van het gekozen thema binnen Nederlandkunde (20 EC)\n\nDaarnaast is er een mogelijkheid om een vrij onderwijsprogramma te volgen door in overleg met de [studieadviseur](mailto:[email protected]) een programma samen te stellen uit het aanbod van de opleiding. Zo’n programma moet ter goedkeuring worden voorgelegd aan de [Examencommissie](mailto:[email protected]) vóór de student met het programma van start gaat.\n\n### Masterlanguage\n\n* In het kader van het interuniversitaire programma [Masterlanguage](http://masterlanguage.nl/) worden cursussen aangeboden die specifiek op het (middelbaar) onderwijs zijn gericht.\n* Eén cursus in het kader van Masterlanguage is zonder meer toegestaan in de vrije keuzeruimte. Wie twee of meer cursussen in het kader van Masterlanguage wil volgen heeft wél vooraf toestemming van de examencommissie nodig.
