- #### Russische Studies bestaat uit twee afstudeerrichtingen (tracks): Taal en Cultuur en Geschiedenis, Politiek en Economie.\n\nHet **eerste jaar** is voor iedereen hetzelfde. Voor de taalvaardigheid Russisch zijn 35 van de 60EC gereserveerd. De overige 25EC worden besteed aan het verwerven van basiskennis van de Russische letterkunde; de taalkunde van Rusland; de geschiedenis van Rusland en de Russische politiek en economie, en aan het kerncurriculumvak Geesteswetenschappen in een digitale wereld.\n\nAan het eind van het eerste jaar, als alle inleidende vakken gevolgd zijn, stel je een studieplan op, waarin staat welke vakken je gaat volgen in het **tweede jaar**: kies je voor de afstudeerrichting Taal en Cultuur, of voor de richting Geschiedenis, Politiek en Economie\n\nIn het tweede jaar volg je ook weer taalverwervingsvakken en disciplinaire vakken. Ook wordt 5 EC besteed aan het kerncurriculumvak wetenschapsfilosofie. Let op: in het tweede jaar is het buitenlandverblijf in Daugavpils (zie daarvoor verder ook de E-studiegids, waar ook informatie staat over de kosten die daaraan verbonden zijn).\n\nDe gekozen afstudeerrichting zet je voort in je **derde jaar**. Het derde jaar is ook het jaar dat je een minor, stage of keuzevakken kunt kiezen (30EC). Keuzevakken kun je ook volgen bij de andere afstudeerrichting van Russische Studies. Als afsluiting van het derde jaar schrijf je een scriptie van 10.000 woorden (10EC).\n\nBij beide afstudeerrichtingen wordt in totaal 30EC besteed aan Russische taalvaardigheid (waarvan 10EC in het buitenland in jaar 2) en 40EC aan vakken in de disciplines horende bij de richtingen.
