HISTORICAL SOURCE OBSERVATIONS · PUBLIC US INSTITUTIONS

Public colleges with admission ratios of 80% or higher and tuition below $30,000.

291 institutions match these two historical observations. Compare their separately reported years, then verify the current course, applicant route and complete attendance budget.

What this research screen includes

The admission ratio uses the latest connected first-time undergraduate admitted and applicant counts, with a positive applicant count. The threshold compares unrounded counts. It describes the reporting institution's historical applicant group; it cannot predict an individual application.

The price is the latest connected positive out-of-state undergraduate tuition and required fees, strictly below the stated USD limit. It excludes housing, meals, insurance, travel and other personal expenses. Out-of-state tuition is a source category and does not establish the price charged to an international student.

Missing latest values are excluded without falling back to an older complete year. The admissions and cost years can differ. Public institution type comes from the connected directory. Open-admission institutions without connected ADM observations are outside this screen, even when their fees are low.

Other price limits: Under $10,000 Under $20,000
