HISTORICAL NCES-DERIVED BACHELOR ENTRY SUBCOHORTS

Read college graduation rates with their cohort.

2155 US institutions have connected historical bachelor-subcohort observations. Start with the definition, compare the same completion window, and keep source-file and entry-cohort years separate.

What is measured?

The selected GBA4RTT, GBA5RTT and GBA6RTT measures are cumulative NCES-derived percentages within four, five and six years. They use a full-time, first-time bachelor or equivalent entry subcohort adjusted for permitted exclusions. The definitions label these durations as 100%, 125% and 150% of normal time.

They do not cover every student, a specific degree subject or a personal outcome. CollegeVerse retains the source percentage and explicit zero; it does not reconstruct raw denominators. This connection supplies no per-cell imputation flags or campus parent-allocation status, and its generic dictionary header does not distinguish release stage. A campus-derived value may use a parent allocation factor.

Explore six-year percentage intervals

Each screen uses the latest connected observation before testing availability. Missing latest percentages do not fall back to an older complete year. Institutions appear alphabetically; these intervals are research screens, not rankings.

Keep adjacent questions separate

First-year retention has its own entry and assessment population. Annual field completions count awards in a reporting year and may include multiple awards for one person. Neither replaces a cohort graduation percentage. Current programme availability, support services, transfer rules, admissions and prices need separately dated official evidence.
